Our Approach

Strategy first, paperwork second

Most family law matters are lost long before a hearing — in incomplete inventories, missed deadlines, and decisions made under pressure without counsel. We begin by slowing that down.

Your first meeting is spent understanding the shape of your household: who the children rely on, what the finances actually look like, and what a good outcome would mean twelve months from now. Everything filed afterward serves that.

Every family deserves a legal strategy designed specifically for their situation.

Questions

Answers before you ask

The six questions we hear most often in a first consultation.

How do I schedule a consultation?
Call the office or submit the consultation form. We will confirm a time within one business day and send you a short list of what to bring. Consultations are held in person, by phone, or by video.
Texas requires a minimum sixty-day waiting period from the date of filing. Uncontested matters often conclude shortly after that window. Contested cases involving children, businesses, or disputed property typically take six to twelve months.
Any existing court orders, a recent pay statement for each spouse, a rough list of assets and debts, and a written summary of what you want the outcome to look like. If you have none of it, come anyway — we will start from where you are.
Frequently, yes. The majority of our matters resolve through negotiation or mediation. We prepare every case as though it will be tried, which is precisely why most of them never need to be.
Texas courts decide conservatorship, possession, and access according to the best interest of the child. We help you document stability, parenting history, and the practical realities of your schedule so the court sees the full picture.
